Terms of Use
Prism Noise · Last updated August 20, 2026
These terms cover the Prism Noise iOS app, published by OneTrackSystem ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. They supplement Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.
Not a medical device
Prism Noise is a sound generator for masking and comfort. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and is not a substitute for professional care.
If tinnitus is new, changes suddenly, or arrives with hearing loss or other concerning symptoms, see a qualified clinician. Use the lowest volume that provides comfort — prolonged listening at high volume can damage hearing.
Your license
You get a personal, non-transferable license to use Prism Noise on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's usual App Store rules. The app, its design, and its sound engine remain ours.
Your content
Recordings you make and audio you import remain yours; we claim no rights over them. You are responsible for what you record and import — including getting any permission needed to record other people, and respecting copyright in audio you bring into the app. Audio you render and share from the app is yours to share.
Purchases
The Genesis unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase made through Apple. Pricing is shown in the App Store before you buy. Payment, receipts, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms; we never see your payment details. A limited number of free Genesis forges are included so you can try it first.
iCloud and data
Syncing uses your own iCloud account and is optional. You are responsible for maintaining backups of recordings that matter to you — the Files app and the in-app export both give you direct access to your audio.
No warranty
Prism Noise is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves; the date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
